Job Description

LHH is assisting an Uptown Law Firm seek a Business Litigation Paralegal. You must have a great deal of trial and litigation experience. This is a dynamic litigation paralegal/legal assistant position supporting two partners and one associate . One partner runs at a fast pace with a steady business litigation docket ; the other has a smaller book of business. The firm handles cases across various jurisdictions and regularly goes to trial, averaging about five per year.

• Salary ranges from $70,000 - $85,000 DOE

Interview Process: 1- 2 in office interview. First one could be virtual (Hr/Partner). 1 interview with everyone in office if stellar candidate.

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of business litigation trial experience
• Good tenure
• 4+ years of law firm experience
• Self-confidence and able to problem solve on your own
• Administrative/Legal Assistant experience

Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of litigation, including trial prep and occasional travel with attorneys
• Create and manage trial binders, prepare war rooms, and provide in-court support
• Assist with arbitration, TROs, and hearings (approximately 2 arbitrations and 3+ trials per year)
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as word processing, copying, mail, and document preparation...no legal assistant support for this role

Document Processing: Logikcull

Collaborate closely with attorneys to stay on top of case needs and deadlines

200 billable hours per quarter required to be eligible for a discretionary bonus
